Delete Your MySmartMedic Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your MySmartMedic account and related data for the MySmartMedic mobile app and website (Mysmartmedic Limited).

How to request account deletion

  1. In the app (recommended if you can still sign in): Open MySmartMedic → sign in → go to Profile → Manage My Privacy → Delete My Account. Confirm with your password and type delete my account . You can also use the same flow on the website after signing in at /profile/manage-privacy .
  2. On this page: If you cannot sign in, fill in the account deletion request form below. We will verify ownership of the account and process your request.
  3. By email: Send a message from the email address on your account to Support@mysmartmedic.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request – MySmartMedic”, your full name, and the phone number linked to the account (if any).

Web and email requests are typically completed within 30 days after we verify your identity. In-app deletion takes effect immediately once confirmed.

What data is deleted or kept

Deleted or anonymised

  • Account profile details (name, email, phone, address, and similar identifiers)
  • In-app health records and profile medical fields you provided
  • AI / Dr. Omeife chat history linked to your user account
  • Privacy consent settings tied to your account
  • Active login sessions / access tokens

May be retained (not for marketing)

  • Billing, payment, and transaction records required for accounting, fraud prevention, or tax law (often kept in anonymised or minimised form where possible)
  • Appointment or clinical audit records we must keep under applicable healthcare or legal obligations
  • Security and system logs needed to investigate abuse or comply with lawful requests

Retention period

Personal data that is not subject to a legal retention requirement is deleted or anonymised when your account is closed. Records we must keep by law are retained only for as long as that obligation applies, then securely deleted or anonymised. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy .
